Policies

The purpose of Princeton Battlefield Society, a 501(c)3 New Jersey non-profit corporation, is:

  • To acquire, protect, preserve, and restore the lands and cultural landscape related to the Battle of Princeton (of January 3, 1777);
  • To enlarge and improve the Princeton Battlefield State Park;
  • To educate the public about the Battle of Princeton, the Ten Crucial Days, and the American Revolution.

Privacy Policy

Princeton Battlefield Society (PBS) collects personal data for event registrations and payments and donor stewardship. We collect and confidentially store personal information such as name, postal address, telephone number, and email address as our members, customers, and donors voluntarily provide when registering and paying for our events or donating to our organization. We also collect and confidentially store customer payment information as required by our merchant services providers to complete payments. We collect information via online forms completed on our website or merchant service programs or by telephone exchanges. PBS does not disclose any collected information to any other entities unless required by law. We never share or sell our collected information. Our Board of Directors periodically reviews and revises our privacy policy when needed and appropriate.

Refunds Policy

For event fees paid, PBS permits refunds up to 48 hours in advance of the event. For merchandise purchases PBS permits refunds up to 7 days after item purchase date and upon return of purchased item in the same condition as when purchased. For donations, PBS permits no refunds.

Discrimination Policy

Princeton Battlefield Society does not discriminate in any of its activities, programs, events, or operations by race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status. PBS also does not discriminate in employment, recruitment, advertisements for employment, compensation, termination, promotions, and other conditions of employment against any employee or job applicant by race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status.
