Princeton & The 250th

Celebrating 250 Years of Liberty, Legacy, and Learning in Princeton

In 2026, America celebrates its 250th anniversary—our semi-quincentennial. In Princeton, this milestone resonates deeply. The town’s people, places, and passions were critical to the birth of the republic. From heated debates about liberty to the literal battle for independence, Princeton has stood at the crossroads of America’s story.

To commemorate this anniversary, the Princeton Battlefield Society is launching a series of projects and programs to honor our past and inspire our future.
