About the Speaker
Dr. Michael A. Blaakman is a historian of revolutionary and early national America and serves as a professor at Princeton University. He is the creative force behind the acclaimed Princeton University exhibition, Nursery of Rebellion: Princeton and the American Revolution.
His award-winning book, Speculation Nation, received both the Frederick Jackson Turner Award from the Organization of American Historians and the William Nelson Cromwell Book Prize from the American Society for Legal History.
